Introduction

Estate planning is the process undertaken to protect your estate and insure that it is transferred in an orderly fashion. Estate planning prevents family disputes and allows you control even after you have passed on. The peace of mind you will get comes from the fact that you will be able to avoid undue hardship on your family and allow a greater portion of your wealth to flow to them by reducing legal, probate and executor fees.

Taxes are also a major component of estate planning and unless they are addressed before hand, they could spell financial disaster for your family. Estate planning will allow you to be remembered the way you want. To leave a legacy to the ones you love that reflects your wishes and gives purpose to what you've accomplished in your life.
